A fixed cost proposal is preferred for projects which are well defined, relatively short time frames, and straight forward requirements.

A resource allocation proposal is preferred for ongoing projects which require flexibility in requirements, larger scope, and a more “Agile” methodology.

Q: Can you provide me with a dedicated team?

Yes. Our Resource Allocation model allows us to assign specific teams of professional developers, and project managers to you. You have flexibility as to the tasks and work that are assigned to “your” team.

Q: What are the benefits of the Resource Allocation Model?

By committing to a minimum number of hours per month you are able to have dedicated developer(s) ready to serve your needs. The Resource Allocation model also allows you to reduce your per hour cost while giving you greater flexibility in controlling project priorities and features.

Q: Do you charge by a hourly rate?

As projects vary in complexity and size, we may be able to provide lower rates for higher bulk work. We are glad to provide our hourly rate in a generated quote once the project details have been gathered.

Q: What is your billing policy?

As a customer of IT Hands, you have available details of all billable activity. We operate on the policy of openness and honesty always striving for complete accuracy in all areas including billing. At the beginning of a project, a customer will receive a Work Statement documenting the services agreed upon and a description of cost.

Q: How do I know what I will really get?

In order to prevent project creep we follow a careful requirements gathering process in order to prevent unexpected results.
